Does the Hair Conditioner contain silicones?
No. Our Stem Cell Conditioner is made with breathable plant oils that penetrate the hair cuticle to properly moisturize strands without added weight or residue.
Many conditioners create the illusion of smoothness by using silicones, which form a waterproof seal around the hair to block out humidity. These seals build upon each other with continued use, weighing the hair down and making it increasingly difficult to receive moisture, creating flat and brittle hair.
What should I expect when transitioning to the silicone-free Hair Conditioner?
Many silicones are water insoluble, meaning it can take around 5-8 washes to remove the superficial layers. During this transition period, your hair might feel less “smooth” at first. This will subside as our plant oils penetrate the hair cuticle to restore intrinsic moisture without added weight or residue.
After shampooing, apply from mid-lengths to ends. Leave on for 1–2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
